Bay Street Yard kicks off Whiskey Wednesdays with Rob Benton performances

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 16, 2026) – Bay Street Yard, downtown Fort Myers’ popular outdoor entertainment venue, is kicking off its Whiskey Wednesdays series on Oct. 21 with performances by Rob Benton.

Whiskey Wednesdays will run every Wednesday throughout the season, offering 2-ounce pours of select bourbons for $10, including Benchmark Rye, Elmer T. Lee, Four Roses Small Batch, Four Roses Small Batch Select, Sazerac Rye and Stagg.

Boston- and Key West-based Benton will perform on select Wednesdays each month from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Benton has spent the last two decades as a solo artist, a member of the duo Key West Kings and a lead guitarist performing alongside artists including Nelly, Lee Brice, Cooper Alan, Nate Smith, Skid Row, Everlast, LFO, New Kids On The Block, The J. Geils Band and more. He combines percussion, looping, beatboxing, electrified rock and hip-hop elements with his solo acoustic playing to create the sound of a four-piece band.

General admission is free, and the venue offers seating for over 300 guests with two full-service bars and a variety of outdoor games such as cornhole, ping pong and more. The venue is 21+ after 9 p.m. VIP suites are also available upstairs at The Loft for groups of 10-24 people with a $40-60 minimum food and beverage spend per person.
